Award-winning guitarist and
composer Steve Gibb studied classical guitar with Hector Quine and Timothy Walker
at The Royal Academy of Music in London where he won the John Mundy Prize
for "excellence in the playing of a stringed instrument." He
has performed all over the world both as a soloist and ensemble player and
is equally at home in the classical and pop music genres having appeared with such artistes as Eartha Kitt, Meatloaf, Britney Spears and
The London Sinfonietta. He is currently appearing in the Tony Award-winning
Broadway musical 'Jersey Boys'.

Carol Hamersma, classical and
jazz guitarist, has performed extensively in the metropolitan area, and has
played for such dignitaries as Governors Florio and Whitman, Mayor David
Dinkins and Donald Trump. She has a Bachelor of Music from the Mannes
College of Music in Classical Guitar and a Masters in Jazz Performance from
Queen's College. She is currently on the faculty of County College of Morris
and Seton Hall University. |
Mr. Keremedjiev has been a
classical guitarist for over twenty years, as a soloist and ensemble player.
In a recent performance with violinist Basia Danilow, Classical New Jersey
wrote: "The spirit and spontaneity with which the tunes flowed was
infectious...the two players just looked at each other and out it came like
a fountain of Eastern soul." He has appeared in many venues, including
the New Philharmonic Chamber Music Series, the Central Vermont Chamber Music
Festival and, notably, in concert for the Romanov family at the Plaza Hotel
in New York City.
Mr. Keremedjiev is the founder and director of the Classical Guitar Studio
of Montclair and Denville, New Jersey, and is currently on the faculty of
County College of Morris. He is a graduate of Montclair State University and
the Manhattan School of Music. |
